Mirai Powers and Abilities Explained
Mirai does not use a battle power system. Its supernatural engine is the family home’s garden, which opens symbolic time-slip encounters when Kun’s emotions reach a breaking point.
The Garden Gateway
The garden behaves like a threshold between present feelings and family memory. It is less a machine with rules than a storytelling space where Kun meets people at the age or form that can teach him something.
Future Mirai
Mirai’s older self is the clearest “power” figure: she can meet Kun across time and guide him without erasing the lesson he must learn himself.
Emotional Time Travel
The time travel is accurate to the film’s theme: family identity is built from memories, accidents, choices, and inherited stories. PopRot treats these moments as magical realism, not hard science fiction.
