Summary
Balsa visits a great swordsmith to get a new blade for her spear. The smith agrees to forge her new blade, once he is convinced that Balsa did not kill the prince.
What happens in the episode
This chapter advances the protector-and-prince road story while keeping the stakes grounded. Balsa’s choices are measured against Chagum’s vulnerability, the imperial system looking for him, and the spirit-world truth that the court does not fully understand.
