What Miyori no Mori is about
The film starts from Miyori’s isolation: her parents’ troubles have left her defensive, and the move to her grandmother’s countryside home feels like exile. The forest changes that. Instead of treating nature as scenery, the movie gives the forest a voice through spirits, animals, and local caretakers who challenge Miyori to notice what she is responsible for.
