Kyoko’s episode is the OVA’s lore chapter, but it stays rooted in place. Hida-Takayama is not just a backdrop; the characters are pushed through landmarks and messages that make history feel like part of the system puzzle.
The meeting with Kyoko is interrupted by communications tied to Helba’s network. Tokuoka realizes the group’s actions have likely been watched for longer than they understood. That changes Helba from a distant hacker legend into an active unseen coordinator.
