Who they are
Mika Iwakura is the family member who notices the household becoming stranger around Lain. PopRot role label: Lain’s older sister.
Role in the story
Mika is dry, skeptical, and more socially conventional than Lain. Her story relevance comes from how the boundary collapse invades ordinary home life, making her one of the clearest victims of the series’ unreality.
