Personality and role

This character helps widen Moribito beyond a simple chase story. Their choices connect survival on the road with court politics, scholarship, folklore, or the ordinary people of Shin Yogo.

Abilities and strengths

Sagum is best understood through practical strengths rather than a video-game power list. In Moribito, skill means spear technique, court learning, field medicine, shamanic knowledge, emotional resilience, or the ability to survive without imperial protection.

Story relevance

The character matters because Seirei no Moribito is built around responsibility: who protects Chagum, who defines truth, and who pays when myth and politics collide. Sagum adds a specific angle to that conflict.
