The anime is a compact 12-episode adaptation, so PopRot organizes it into four practical viewing arcs rather than treating every school incident as separate filler.
Akane Academy and the Reincarnater Setup
Episodes 1-2 introduce Moroha, Satsuki, Shizuno, the Savior school system, Shirogane and Kuroma classes, and the Metaphysical threat. The point of the opening is to establish that Moroha is not simply talented; he is abnormal because he remembers two different heroic lives.
Shizuno / White Knight Conflict
Episodes 3-4 use Edward’s arrival and Shizuno’s family pressure to show that Saviors are tied to rank, politics, and control outside ordinary school life. Moroha’s second past life becomes more visible here.
Strikers Team-Building
Episodes 5-6 move through beach-camp comedy and a team battle that gives Haruka, Sofia, and the Strikers more weight. These episodes make the wider squad matter before the anime leaves Japan.
Lesya, Russia, and the Final Threat
Episodes 7-12 bring in Lesya, the Demon Sword/Holy Sword conflict, Vasilisa, and the final attack on Akane Academy. This is where World Break most clearly connects romance, past-life memory, international Savior hierarchy, and supernatural combat.
