Summary

The finale uses summer heat, ghost stories, late-night fear, and word games to bring the sisters back to their apartment dynamic. Even when the issue is air conditioning rather than dinner, luxury remains something Hikage resists and Hinata begs for.

What happens in this episode

Episode 10 closes the ONA with a compact version of the show’s household rhythm. Heat makes Hinata want the air conditioner; Hikage treats that as an unaffordable luxury. Ghost stories briefly flip the power balance by making Hikage cling to her older sister, and a later scare plan lets her push back when Hinata returns with more manga. The shiritori sequence circles back to meat and hunger, proving that even a bedtime distraction cannot escape the family’s food obsession. As an ending, it does not need a huge resolution: it leaves Hinata and Hikage exactly where the series understands them best, bickering, budgeting, and staying together.
