Original Summary
Adachi asks his friend and romance-novelist, Tsuge, for advice on his predicament. At work, Adachi uses his power to help Kurosawa. They have an awkward exchange while out drinking with their coworkers.
What Happens
In PopRot wording: Adachi talks with his friend, Tsuge, about his situation of being able to read the minds of others he touches, and how he learned through this that his male co-worker, Kurosawa, is interested in him. Tsuge calls this ridiculous and that virginity can do terrible things to a person if it lasts too long. Adachi asks Tsuge for advice, and the romance novelist tells him to use the information to his advantage, like most women do. Adachi says that he would not feel right to do that, and Tsuge tells him that his reaction, his earnestness and awkwardness, is what makes him unpopular. Tsuge encourages Adachi to consider his feelings for Kurosawa, and if he is troubled by them, Adachi can do things to make Kurosawa dislike him. Upon accidentally touching Tsuge, Adachi learns that his friend is also a virgin. At work, Adachi is frustrated that he is unable to find anything to dislike about Kurosawa.
