Original Summary
Adachi is annoyed by his newly-found power of hearing the thoughts of anyone he bumps into, especially after learning that a handsome coworker, Kurosawa, has a crush on him.
What Happens
In PopRot wording: Adachi narrates about coming into his magical power upon turning 30. He describes this power as drab and a nuisance, especially while riding the subway and hearing the inner monologue of anyone he touches. He realizes that it would be inappropriate for him to touch girls and considers that if he was the type of person who could touch people, then he would not be a virgin. While going into work, Adachi expresses to Kurosawa that he does not like to take the elevator due to it being crowded. Kurosawa suggests that they take the stairs together. Adachi observes female coworkers commenting about Kurosawa's good looks, assuming that he must have a girlfriend. Adachi imagines that Kurosawa is popular enough must have lost his virginity in high school.
