How It Works
A Sanjiyan is a three-eyed immortal being with the power to bind a human soul and create a Wu. Yakumo survives because Pai absorbs his soul, but survival is not freedom: he becomes attached to her fate, revived by her power, and dragged into supernatural conflicts that treat his body as expendable.
Why It Matters
The powers in 3×3 Eyes are not just cool abilities. They make the central wish sharper: Pai wants humanity precisely because immortality and command over others have made her life less normal, not more free.
