Eiri Masami is the former Tachibana researcher who presents himself as a god of the Wired. PopRot role label: major antagonist.

Eiri is manipulative, messianic, and obsessed with Protocol 7. His power is ideological as much as technical: he wants people to accept the Wired as a higher reality and himself as its divine administrator.
