s-CRY-ed groups and factions guide
The conflict is organized around geography and authority: the Lost Ground produces native Alter users, while HOLD/HOLY represent the policing and elite-control structures trying to contain them.
Major groups
- Native Alter users: people whose powers emerge outside official control, including Kazuma and other Lost Ground residents.
- HOLY: the elite Alter-user unit that pursues, recruits, or suppresses native Alter users.
- HOLD: the broader security structure operating around Lost Ground order.
- Lost Ground civilians: Kanami and other noncombatants keep the series grounded in daily survival rather than only superpowered battles.
