Who Is Ino Yamanaka?
Ino Yamanaka is a kunoichi of Konohagakure 's Yamanaka clan. She and her fellow members of Team Asuma are their generation's Ino–Shika–Chō trio. She later becomes the head of the Konoha Barrier Team and a member of the Analysis Team. Ino was the only child of Inoichi Yamanaka and her mother.

She was a popular student during her time in the Academy. There, she met Sakura Haruno, who was teased by other kids for her large forehead. Ino defended Sakura from the bullies, throwing a flower she claimed was poisionous into the mouth of one of the bullies, making the group run away.
